- 3 Plantains
- 5 Cups Water
- 2 Cans Evaporated Milk
- 3 Anise Stars
- Vanilla Extract
- Sugar to taste
- Cinnamon
- Pinch of Salt
- Lime Peel

Instructions
- Add cinnamon, lime peel, ginger to 4 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Cube the plantain to blend, you can keep the skin on.
- Blend the plantain in 1 cup of water.
- Add the plantain mixture to boiling water. Allow it to boil for at least 10 minutes to cook the plantain.
- Mix occasionally; the mixture will thicken.
- Add evaporated milk (If the mixture is too thick add another can of evaporated milk).
- Add sugar to taste and vanilla extract.
- Continue to mix the mixture frequently.
- While the mixture is still hot, strain the mixture.
- Serve Bannann Graje hot or cold.
