  • ½ Cabbage

Instructions
  1. Rinse, peel, grate and chop all the veggies
  2. Add the veggies to a pot—the mixed green should be on top of the other veggies
  3. Add Epis, powdered seasoning and salt to the veggies
  4. Add cup of water
  5. Cover the pot and allow the veggies to steam cook for 20-30 minutes
  6. When veggies are cooked, remove the veggies from the pot. Add them to a separate bowl. Mash the veggies very well.
  7. After mashing the veggies, add oil to the same pot over medium heat. Add tomato paste, onions, pepper and garlic. Season as needed and roast the veggies.
  8. Add a bit of water to make a veggie sauce.
  9. Add the mashed veggies to the sauce and mix well.
  10. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  11. Add some slices of onion
  12. Taste and ensure that the mixture is well seasoned.
  13. Enjoy with rice, plantain, Haitian grits
